SHOPPING

Do I need to create an account to shop with you? 

Yes, an account needs to be created before you purchase online from sleekmakeup.com. Your account is password protected, (a username, active email address and password chosen by you), contact details and card details are saved and can be accessed and edited at any time. You will have to login to your account each time you make an order. Click here to create an account.

Why is there a limit on the number of products I can order?

Sleekmakeup.com limits online orders to no more than four (4) units of any item since the site is primarily for individual consumers. Trade and retail outlets that wish to purchase larger quantities of the Sleek MakeUP range need to contact us.

Item Availability

I have a discount code. How do I use it in paying for goods?

After you have selected your goods, when inputting your card details, you are prompted to provide details of a discount code if you have one. This will recalculate your order before you are prompted to confirm and complete your order.

What currencies can I use?

You can contact us if you wish to opt-in to our mailing lists. Alternatively, you can enter your email address at the capture form at the bottom right hand corner of our site to receive newsletters and offers.

How do I know my personal details are correct?

You can return to your account and review your details at any time.

How do I check on my order status?

When your order has been received, you will be sent an email to your address that you set up your account with confirming your order. You will also be sent an email once your order has been dispatched or if there are any problems or delays with your order. You can also log into your account to view your purchase history and the status of your current orders.

Do I need to have an account to join the Penthouse?

The Penthouse is an interactive hub for true Sleek MakeUP enthusiasts. In order to restrict this area from spammers we require you to have a login to view and participate in areas of the Penthouse.

Do you take telephone orders?

We do not take online orders over the telephone. If you have a problem with an order or have a query regarding an order, please contact us via email at weborders@sleekmakeup.com include your full name, delivery address and order number.

Can I cancel an order that I’ve made?

Yes, orders can be cancelled. Should you wish to cancel an order prior to receiving your goods, please contact us at weborders@sleekmakeup.com with full details. Please note that as we generally dispatch orders within 1 to 2 days of receipt, it may not be possible to cancel prior to dispatch. In this instance you would have to return your order once received in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Currencies 

How do you convert currencies?

When we sell products internationally we have to consider the price that it is being sold in that country currently. For example the palettes that will be sold in Sephora Spain/France/Italy has to have the same retail price online that they have agreed to have in their stores - we cannot undercut them online otherwise we would not be able to be stocked in their stores. We do not use a Euro/Pound conversion rate to establish prices as the products need to be priced in line with the market they are positioned in.

In addition we can only have one Euro price - anyone in the Europe (except the UK) has to purchase in Euros!! As the Euro price is set in accordance with our multiple market stores (such as Sephora) we have to charge at least this price point across the board.

If you find this too expensive then we do encourage you to continue using your current sources to buy the products if you still wish to and find it cheaper– sorry but we have made it the cheapest we possibly can in Euros!

Regarding dollars, we use the same currency to all countries outside of Euro zone countrries and the UK, so we must use a fixed currency that maintains a competitive market price.

Shipping

How do I know if my order has been shipped?

After purchasing you will receive a confirmation email with your confirmation number. You can check the status of your purchase by logging into your account and putting your confirmation in the designated area.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Standard UK Delivery is £2.95 and will arrive within 3 to 5 working days. Standard European Delivery is €6 .00 and will arrive within 5 to 7 working days. Standard International Delivery is $13.50 and will arrive within 7 to 10 working days.

International destinations are considered as all other countries not listed as European. Please note we do not ship to the African continent.

Can I refund a product that I bought on the internet in-store?

No.

Are Sleek MakeUP’s products tested on animals? 

At Sleek MakeUP we strongly believe in the safety aspects of our cosmetic products, including manufacturing processes, stability, microbiological testing, physico-chemical data and the safety evaluation for all products produced for Sleek MakeUP.

With regards to the safety and protection of animals , we confirm that we do not test any of our products on animals during any phase of the product’s development, and therefore declare that all cosmetic products comply with the EEC Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC that are not tested on animals.

Our products and vegan/vegetarian suitability.

Some of our products do contain animal derived ingredients and have been clearly listed below. Our kohl pencils do not contain such ingredients, however we advise that they are not suitable for vegans/vegetarians as they are produced in an environment that also use animal derived ingredients for manufacture of other products such as beeswax.

Products not suitable for vegans/vegetarians: Twist Up Eye Pencils, Eye Dusts, i-Divines, Kohl Pencils, Eye Drama, Ink Pot, Dip It Eye Liner, Dip It Duo, Dip It Eyeliner Mascara Duo, Glitter Dip It, Magnitude Mascara, Volume and Curl Mascara, Eye Brow Pencils, Glitter Pencils, Stick Concealer, Creme to Powder Foundation, True Colour Lipstick, Twist Up Lip Liner, Wooden Lip Liner.


Are Sleek MakeUP's products dermatologically tested?

In this day and age very few companies carry out dermatological tests of the finished product unless they are supporting a product performance claim. Sleek MakeUP products are produced in factories that are ISO 9001 certified, and in turn only use raw materials that have undergone dermatological tests historically. Therefore, all our raw material suppliers have records of how their products react with the skin. They ensure that the product ingredients are ethically safe for topical application. In saying this, all of our products have undergone historical dermatological tests in accordance to our raw material (ingredients) suppliers.

Are Sleek MakeUP's products hypo-allergenic?

Hypo-‘ means ‘less than’ or ‘decreased’ so, when used to describe a cosmetic, the term hypoallergenic means ‘reduced potential to cause allergic reactions‘. Our Manufacturers have made special efforts in the selection of ingredients and by product testing to reduce further the already low incidence of adverse reactions to our products. Some of our products however, do contain fragrance, and this is clearly labeled in the ingredient listings.

Why does Sleek MakeUP discontinue products?

Sleek has become a trend driven company, dedicated to providing its customers with current on trend products. Our team of developers work effortlessly to make this a reality. This however, results in discontinuing some products and replacing them with more current ones.
