Cut Crease: The New Smokey Eye

The technique is used to give eyes a really dramatic, defined crease, you simply ‘cut’ the crease of the eye with a sharp line of intense colour. If it’s done right the look is pure glamour; check out our top-tips on how to achieve this dramatic look using Au Naturel i-Divine Palette.
- Create a sharp crease using a precision brush in the darkest shade from Au Naturel i-Divine Palette. Follow the shape of your natural crease making a single line of colour ending just before your upper lash line.
- If you have hooded eyelids, keep your eyes open when applying the crease shade. This will help you create the illusion of a crease.
- The key to achieving a professional finish is blending the crease line up towards your brow bone.
- Highlight just under the brow bone using the lightest shade and line both the upper and lower lash line with the dark crease shadow. Finish with a few generous coats of mascara, we love the big volume lashes we get from our Full Fat Lash Mascara.
