If you saw the pictures of Amanda Seyfried posing outside the Miu Miu catwalk show earlier this month, you'll have spotted a fast-emerging makeup trend for autumn: berry shades.

The actress looked edgy and cool with her mulberry hued pout, which contrasted magnificently with her red trouser power suit.

Keeping her eyes and the rest of her makeup fairly neutral, Amanda's lipstick really made an impact.

"The Marc Jacobs AW 2012 show [went for] a Twiggy-inspired aesthetic, with geometric angles and clever blush contouring," she noted.

"For a more wearable look consider using grey eye shadow for lining the eyes and using eyeliner for an added feline flick. Barely there makeup is always popular - think flawless and barely noticeable, and achieve this by using primer both on the face, lids and lips for an overall peachy complexion that suggests youth."
