Vanessa Hudgens goes kooky for coral

How to find the perfect red lipstick for your colouring

Vanessa Hudgens has been a little quiet of late, focusing on her new film Spring Breakers in a bid to break free of the role she filled for the successful High School Musical franchise.

But she still managed to rock a new look on the red carpet this week, turning up to the Jenny Packham autumn/winter 2013 show at New York Fashion Week with a bright pop of coral lipstick.

Her on-trend look was complemented with thick black eye liner and a youthful glow.

Celebrity makeup artist Bonnie Boscarelli told HollywoodLife.com how to recreate Vanessa's spring-inspired look, and recommended using a moisturising base to get that lit-from-within effect.

Try Sleek MakeUP's New Skin Revive liquid foundation in the shade that matches your skin tone and apply it evenly across your complexion. "Use a foundation brush in light, downward strokes, blending well, to create a flawless complexion," Bonnie advised.

Next, take a peachy blush and swirl it onto the highest part of your cheekbones. Vanessa chose a "universally flattering natural pink shade with a peach shimmer", so try Sleek MakeUP's Blush in Life's A Peach and blend it upwards towards your temples with a thick bristle brush.

As for your eyes, opt for a cream, mauve and chocolate brown shade to create a contoured look. Try i-Divine eye shadow palette in Ultra Matte V2 and apply the mauve shadow across your lid and the cream shade underneath your brow bone. Using a definer brush, blend the brown shade into your crease.

Finish off your peepers with a sweep of Dip It Eyeliner in Black along your upper lash line, flicking it out at the corners and coating your lashes with black mascara.

Complete the look with a bold statement pout - Sleek MakeUP's True Colour Lipstick in Coral Reef is perfect. "Apply from the stick, and blot with a tissue to remove any excess, then add a second layer," said the makeup expert.
